We need you! In order to run an event of this size, we count on the time, effort and support of close to 100 volunteers - thank you for considering giving back to your community in this way! Many positions are available for both experienced and new volunteers. High school students can earn community hours toward graduation. We especially need mature volunteers to fill certain roles.
Day of Festival:
SET UP: We are looking for volunteers to help out for at least 2 hours on the morning of Monday, July 1, before the festival starts. Shifts run from 9 to 11 am and 11 to 1 pm.
Roles to fill during this time include some heavy lifting, putting up signage, vendor hospitality.
DURING THE EVENT: We are looking for volunteers to help out for 4 to 8 hours during the festival on Monday, July 1. Shifts begin at 1 p.m. and go until 11 p.m.
Here we need your help with hospitality (greeters, information guides), security, kids zone attendants, parking attendants, waste management, and more.
Next Day Clean-up: We are also looking for 12-15 people to assist with cleaning up the park for one hour the following morning from 11 am to noon. Refreshments will be available for those who help out! This year, July 2 falls on a Tuesday - a work day - so we will be especially hard-pressed to find volunteers. Your help is so appreciated!
To express your interest in volunteering, fill out the form on this page. If you have questions about this volunteering opportunity, please contact Sabina, our volunteer coordinator.
Thank you to our many generous sponsors who have contributed greatly to this festival and giving back to the community.
The deadline to book a booth space at this year's festival is May 25. Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in participating.
